Our team is a group of gusty, heart-centered leaders who are committed to intersectional feminist, anti-oppressive practice. Our team is made up of talented administrators and leaders, fund development and finance professionals, social workers, counsellors, and facilitators. Collectively, we share the vision of supporting women, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people in our communities to overcome the impacts of trauma and move towards self-sufficiency, freedom, wellness, and joy.

  • Clinical Counsellor

Bridges is seeking someone passionate about supporting women to break the cycles of abuse and trauma, has strong people skills, and works well in a collaborative environment. The Counsellor is responsible for keeping a full case load, giving the best clinical care to clients; database management, clinical notes, applying on clients behalf for counselling funding and helping with the applications when appropriate for PWD and PPMB and other advocacy work that the client may need. Indigenous Women’s Bridging Program Evaluation Support

Bridges inspires women affected by trauma, violence or abuse to reclaim their lives and build financial security through our healing, education and employment programs. The Indigenous Women’s Bridging Program Evaluator and Program Support is responsible for gathering information from client participation in the Indigenous Women’s Bridging Program for an evaluation project called Sisters’ Stories. Indigenous Women’s Bridging Services Facilitator

The Indigenous Women’s Bridging Services Facilitator is responsible for online intake, case management, curriculum co-development, and outreach for Bridges’ Online Services. The Facilitator provides facilitation in an online classroom in addition to offering regular support and coaching utilizing telephone and related supports. The Facilitator also collaborates with remote community partners and referral agencies.
